it is not a very good phone the touch screen isnt very responive and when you have a lot of pictures it makes the phone very slow, but the camera make up for this a bit as it is good quality and you can record in slow motion aswell. it isnt very easy to text on either. overall i think this phone could be a lot better, but it is quite cheap.

It is quite a good phone, but it dosent have a very good camera and the internet is a bit too slow,also i would like it better if you could lock it and when you unlock it you have to put a code in so then nobody else can get into it. It is a good phone for texting on as the keybord is a good size and easy to type on.
overall i think this phone is quite good, but could be a lot better

after 2+ years of using the same phone without any problems I can only say good things about this one,good size touchscreen and easy to use.
the only thing I would like to see improved is the software as it is hard to be able to save you sms to the pc,but other then that,Ive had for this long now and its never failed me

It is okay, with a touch screen and a decent 3MP camera but texting can be difficult. However, it is durable and has a ton of features, as a fully workable music system. All in all, a good, starter phone for people not prepared to spend massive amounts of money on a phone occasionally used.

the LG viewty is a GOOD phone ive had it for a couple of years but it does get boring and i dont think the memory is good, although i love the camera but memory is not allowing me to take anymore.
i would recommend the phone though

i have recently been given this phone as a present. its and absolutely BRILLIANT phone, i love it. the only issues ive had with it (theyre not really enough to become problems) is that it becomes slightly less responsive when it needs to be charged (even if it shows full battery), the music player is pretty quiet with the headphones in and sometimes the speaker will let out this sound like its going to explode. but all in all this phone is top notch for the price, a touch screen for £100, brilliant!

If youre thinking of getting a Viewty, dont bother. Ive had one for 6 months now and hate it! Screen scratches too easily, camera average, cannot delete txts in block, touchscreen really really annoying. Only 12 months to go for an upgrade!!

Nice looking phone but.... keypad does not light up in the dark so impossible to text or make a call in the dark. Ring tone not very load and screen cracked after 8 months!! This is not covered by warrenty.

I have got LG U890 phone. It is preety good because it has a mp3 player in it and also has a camera. It is better than my last phone which was sony erricsson k500i. although it has not got a much battery life in than my last phone I like this more than my last one. This phone is spot on for keeping.

I got this phone in november 2005 and i absolutely adore it! i used to have an LG U8120 and thought that was great til they brought out the u880. They impressed me so much with the features! Bluetooth, i can play music using the loudspeaker feature, i can take pictures and videos without even opening the phone!! The only downfall for this phone is that they didnt include a flash but you dont really need it! The quality of the pictures and the night mode make this a great camera in itself. 10/10 for this beautiful little phone!

Almost perfect, but theres a couple of things that annoy you after a while such as repeatedly having to set the camera up before being able to use it, the absense of a flash, the inability to zoom while filming, the fact that you cant hear the mp3 player properly when the phone is closed, and if you use it when open you cant use other features while the player is on, but for everything else it's perfect!

I love the Lg U890. I've had it for about three weeks now and was a bit worried about the battery life but it's honestly fine. I just throw it on the car charger (bought for just £5) that I picked up in the supermarket for an older model, but it works with this. I have a Sony Ericcson K750i before with battery standby of 400hrs, but this is fine. Also the manufacturer says in the handbook that the battery does not need to drain before recharging, so this is fine and I just do it whenever!
The screen resolution is just fabulous. I love the lightness of the handset and the slim and gorgeous looks.
It's simple to use and I have had no problems with the change. It's got some great features and the software that comes with it is really simple to use - just drag and drop.
I have to say that the camera is not the best I've had at 1.3MP but then I have a great digital camera so I'm not too bothered by this.
In summary, a lovely phone and its looks are matched by its usability!

I purchased this phone in dec 05, and i am so pleased with my choice, i wanted a phone with the basic popular features such as camera, video, games bluetooth and 3g this as it all ! and owning this handset in shocking pink is a mighty bonus !lol. It is a little bigger than my last handset the D500 but im used to it now, I recently just bought a 512 mb card for it so i have LOTS of space for my mp3 tracks. If you are thinking of getting this handset go for it! , the only prob is it doesnt have a camera flash but appart from that its a great phone and i also have to admit what a great network three is, so many great offers and entertainment on wap.

Just got my phone about two days ago and still getting used to it so but here are my first impressions.
The size is excellent and will fit into a small pocket, antenna however adds a little to the overall length. The phone also looks good and has a good design. Would reccomend spending an extra £10 on the body glove as it adds to the look as well as protecting the phone.
The Features on the phone are superb. The main attraction for me was the video conferencing. This can be done at no extra cost to someone else with another compatable phone. The picture quality is great and sound fine. I was so impressed by this that I went out the following day and got my partner the same phone..
Other features are stills camera, video camera and mp3 player.
On the subject of the mp3 player dont expect to get a bundle of songs on your player.You get 32 mb of memory so you can probably get about 6-7 songs as well as some pictures however the quality it has to be said is first class. I downloaded some music videos from the 3 network and the was very impressed.
I was a little worried about going to the 3 network as I had heard some bad reports about the signal strength, however in the short time I have had the phone I have found no such difficulties.
Advantages....
User friendly
Small design.
Video conferencing (fantastic)
good signal strength( so far)
mp3 player
Disadvantages...
32 mb of memory which you will use up quickly. Cant add additional memory. If you want a bundle of songs dont buy a phone get an mp3 audio player
So in summing up , would I reccomend this phone............YOU BET.
i Always change my phone every year to a newer model however I think I might just hold onto this one. The Features are brilliant and the package deals you get with 3 just cannot be beaten at this time by any of there competitors. Go buy it.
