Vodafone announces iPhone availability
Posted: 30 September 2009
Following an announcement earlier this week that indicated O2's exclusive deal with Apple in the UK was over, another network has confirmed its involvement with the firm.
It was advised on Monday (September 28th) that Orange would become the second company to provide the iPhone 3G across Britain and it has now emerged Vodafone has also made an agreement on the model.
Tariff details, pricing structures and availability options have yet to be confirmed by either of the operators but, as with the former, the latter carrier has set up a dedicated web page where people can register for updates.
One piece of information noted by Vodafone is that its current plans would see the smartphone on sale to its customers in the early part of 2010.
This week a new survey was published that looked at the performance of the iPhone in the US, where it was noted that although most people love their gadget, they are largely unhappy with their network.
What do you think this means for the iPhone?
