O2 announces PAYG revision

O2 has announced it has made some changes to one of its pay-as-you-go (PAYG) tariffs.
The network, which features a wide range of devices like the Nokia 6220 among its non-contract options, said the new version of the Text & Web package would address a specific consumer need.
It advised those who sign up to the PAYG option before October 31st can expect to enjoy unlimited web access and text messages when they top up by £15 or more per month.
This is half the amount that the tariff has required in the past and, according to O2's head of Pay & Go propositions Jean-Michel Maltais, adds up to a simple way for users not to have the worry of running low on credit while surfing.
"Our customers are connecting with people more and more through social networks and need constant access to online sites, so we've built Text & Web with them in mind," he added.
The network also carries mobile phones like the Apple iPhone 3G among its PAYG range, as well as the Samsung C3050, LG Cookie and Nokia 2630.
Any of these tempt you to switch?
