New LG Chocolate heads to the Carphonewarehouse

LG has announced the details of the latest entry in its range of Chocolate devices, adding that it will be available soon at the Carphonewarehouse.

The BL40 boasts a new four-inch screen that operates with a 21:9 aspect ratio - which is the format used for most DVD releases - with support offered for high definition video playback.

It is advised that this eliminates the need for side-scrolling while surfing the mobile internet, which is also made faster with the inclusion of 7.2 HSDPA facilities.

The Dual Screen user interface allows twice the amount of content that can be displayed at any one time and LG added the Chocolate BL40 has also been designed with a level of "sleek sophistication".

John Barton, sales and marketing director of LG Mobile UK and Ireland, said: "Like its predecessor, we are confident that the new Chocolate will create its own legacy and further enhance our standing in the market."

LG also announced the launch of three new smartphones this week, two of which carry a full qwerty keyboard.
