One of the latest BlackBerrymobile phones has been praised for its features, which one expert suggests targets the younger user.
A spokesman for Movistar explained that in the new Curve 8520, Research In Motion has created a smartphone which may be of particular interest to those who like to keep in touch via a range of web-based options.
Douglas Ochoa, corporate communications director of the group, said: "The BlackBerry Curve 8520
will be particularly attractive to a younger crowd that likes to be fashionable and connected on social networks."
His comments follow the announcement the BlackBerry Curve 8520 will be available in Venezuela on the Movistar network.
However, those looking to get their hands on the device in the UK may be interested to hear Vodafone has incorporated it into its range of smartphones.
The BlackBerry Curve 8520 features a full qwerty keyboard, touch-sensitive trackpad, 512 Mhz processor and 256 MB of internal memory expandable to 32 GB via microSD card.
Is the 8520 attractive to your eyes?
