Tweet-friendly announcement from 3 Mobile

Those who like to communicate through social networking and micro-blogging may welcome the latest news from 3 Mobile.

It was announced this week that the carrier will not only equip its latest catalogue addition with a Facebook-focused application, but will also include network-exclusive Twitter software.

The phone set to benefit from this technology will be the Sony Ericsson T715, which also boasts a 3.2-megapixel camera and photo light option that makes snaps "perfect … no matter the lighting conditions".

In addition to the combined "communication power" of the new applications, 3 Mobile also said the "attractive slider" comes with "high quality 2.2-inch screen [and a] large keypad - great for constant tweeting".

However, this is not the first device to be launched by the operator of late that is well-equipped for Twitter, Facebook and Skype.

This month saw the release of the INQ Mini 3G, which is designed to offer all of these facilities for those on a budget.
