Sony Ericsson Satio: Worth the wait?

The Sony Ericsson Satio is mobile phone that a new review has said may have been worth the wait.

In an article for TechRadar, Gareth Beavis highlighted the fact that the handset has been promised for some time and said with a number of photographic and multimedia facilities on board buyers may have their hands full.

Formerly known as the Idou when it was showcased by the manufacturer in February, the model carries a 12.1-megapixel camera with auto focus and xenon flash, as well a range of music and video playback facilities.

It was these features in particular that were selected as among the best points of the Sony Ericsson Satio, with Mr Beavis stating image capture "is fantastic", while the number of multimedia options mean "you can't really ask for more".

"The sheer amount of technology under the hood is testament to a good design team and we can see a lot of photography lovers seeing it as their must-have phone", he added.

Sony Ericsson unveiled the full specification of the Satio in a release dated May 28th this year.
