One company that sells mobile accessories has revealed it hopes to have a similar impact to that of the Apple iPhone 3G's App Store.
Avenir Telecom announced it is now offering a range of products - built by Beewi - that has been designed with Apple's flagship handset in mind.
The items being provided by the firm include a hands-free car kit - described as being one of the most potable and lightweight options available.
In addition, customers can also purchase a Bluetooth transmitter that makes it possible for two individuals with separate pairs of headphones to enjoy music wirelessly at the same time.
Andy Tow, managing director of Avenir Telecom, said the firm is determined to "bring the best products to the UK".
He stated: "We aim to do for mobile hardware what the Apple iPhone apps store has done for mobile software."
Meanwhile, the Apple iPhone is soon to become available to Vodafone and Orange customers.
