Consumers given another chance 3 Mobile's S2

Shoppers have been given a second chance to get their hands on 3 Mobile's Skypephone S2 device.

The handset was originally launched in September last year and, according to the network operator, was so popular that soon shelves were empty and it ran completely out of stock.

However, it is noted that for £69.99, buyers can now opt for the device as part of a pay-as-you-go package that will allow them unlimited free Skype to Skype calling for ever.

Praised as a "sleek, clever little phone", the S2 allows users the chance to "join the cool kids in the S2-owning crowd" and the inclusion of Skype support is just one other reason 3 Mobile give for the purchase of the phone being "a no brainer".

Apple recently added Skype support to its iPhone 3G device, but following the launch 3 Mobile said it was clear many other manufacturers were "still playing catch up".
