Puzzle game is "a unique experience"

Those who like to wile away the hours solving puzzles on their mobile phones may be interested in a new game from Electronic Arts, it has been noted.

Pocket Gamer reports one of the publisher's latest titles, Mystery Mania, involves taking the role of a forgetful robot and using your wits to help guide him through a series of challenges.

In a review for the game, Jon Mundy says that one of Mystery Mania's most endearing qualities is a level of "personality" that can be lacking in other puzzlers.

He goes on to suggest that overall it is something of a "mobile masterpiece".

"It's a unique experience" he continues, "taking the decades-old point and click interface and distilling it to minimalist, one-thumb perfection."

Mr Mundy tested Mystery Mania using a Nokia N95, although it is also downloadable for use with a number of other platforms and devices.
