Posted: 31 March 2009
Motorola has announced the launch of a new mobile phone that it claims is "socially-inclined".
The manufacturer will showcase a number of its latest innovations at this year's CTIA Wireless event in Las Vegas and among its various devices will be the new Evoke QA4.
Motorola states this handset is equipped with a range of technologies - as well as "fast web connectivity" - that make it ideal for accessing a range of networking websites.
In addition to the full touchscreen qwerty keypad and varied messaging options, users will be given rapid access to Picasa, MySpace and YouTube with the slider-style phone.
Mark Shockley, corporate vice president and general manager of the firm's mobile devices division, said the Evoke helps keep people connected "simply and seamlessly".
The CTIA Wireless event begins on April 1st and will bring together a number of other manufacturers and experts in the field of telecommunications.
Can Motorola have another hit phone like the RAZR?
