New handset launched with T Mobile PAYG

T MobileA new handset has been launched with T Mobile for those wanting a pay as you go (PAYG) plan.

The ZTE Vairy Touch, which the manufacturer said will cost £59.99, comes equipped with a 1.3-megapixel camera, FM radio and Bluetooth connectivity.

SMS, MMS and multimedia functions are also built into the dual-band touchscreen handset.

T Mobile's head of device and handset marketing Daniel Meredith described the gadget as "elegant" and said it was both stylish and within budget for many customers.

Managing director of ZTE UK Kevin Y Qi added: "Our partnerships with tier-one operators, such a T Mobile, is a testimony to our commitment to delivering attractive, exciting and affordable devices to consumers."

ZTE is a Chinese telecoms company and was founded in 1985.

Last month it announced the signing of an agreement with T Mobile regarding handsets and data cards for mobile applications.

The contract spans all of the network's European markets and both companies agreed to implement joint projects in the coming months.
