Motorola Renew impresses reviewer

Although targeted at the eco-friendly user, there is actually much more to the Motorola W233 Renew than one would think, it has been advised.
Ricky Cadden said in a recent review for Mobile Burn that the manufacturer has clearly highlighted the device as one for the green set, but added there are many more facilities that make it worthy of a second look.
Build quality is one area that was singled out for praise and the article also drew attention to a battery life that by far topped the predictions made by Motorola itself.
"The Renew is estimated to offer nine hours of talk time, while standby time is rated at 18 days," Mr Cadden noted. "I was easily able to last through three days of moderate usage, with several phone calls and a few hours of music playback."
Motorola's W233 Renew was announced in January at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The device is made partially from recycled plastic bottles and is built and packaged to a carbon neutral standard.
Is this phone green enough for you?
