Motorola Headset HX1 'built for most environments'
Posted: 22 June 2009
A new headset from Motorola is said to provide a comfortable and "premium" experience that helps cancel out noise.
The manufacturer said its Endeavor HX1 model combines CrystalTalk innovation with a stealth mode to enable good sound "in the fiercest environments".
It uses Bone Conducting Technology, which is a tool Motorola said is employed by military forces worldwide. Via an ear sensor, outside noise is sealed off and the consumer's vocal vibrations are picked up by a sensor that transmits them to the listener.
Wayne White is corporate vice-president of Motorola Mobile Devices and said the headset provides "audio superiority".
"Whether you are driving in a convertible, attending a concert or standing on a busy street, Motorola Endeavor allows you to hear and be heard," he remarked.
Meanwhile, earlier this month saw the company unveil its MOTO W7 Active Edition, a new 3G phone. It comes equipped with an accelormeter that can sense hand gestures and body motion.
What headset do you use?
