ShoZu social app comes to Nokia

NokiaNokia users were advised they will now be able to get involved with a service that is described as "an intelligent social media hub".

ShoZu unveiled details of its new mobile application this week, which can be downloaded from the Finnish manufacturer's Ovi Store and added to users handsets.

It explained by making the award-winning facility to millions of Nokia mobile phone owners, it would be able to encourage more global interactivity and social networking "with just one click".

Chris Wade, chairman and chief executive officer of ShoZu, said this would mean simple access to online communities, blogs and media sharing sites.

"Our goal is to make it as convenient as possible for consumers to find and pay for our apps. Leveraging the OVI Store is part of that strategy," he added.

Nokia 5800 XpressMusic users were recently given a guide to upgrading their firmware by the NokNok website.
