Orange Vegas offers a 'cheap touchscreen option'
Posted: 13 July 2009
There are a number of things those looking for a cheap mobile phone might like about one of the latest to hit the Orange line up, it has been suggested.
In an article for Cnet Flora Graham looks at the Vegas - a device built by Chinese company ZTE that is known in some markets as the X760 - and explains that it has some attractive features.
The small, lightweight dimensions of the handset are praised, as is the inclusion of an integrated FM radio and expandable memory card slot - all for a price that she claims makes the model "cheap as chips".
However, a poor battery life and clunky user interface are a few of the bad points of the Vegas, but this may not be a problem for those who simply need to take the budget option.
"The Orange Vegas is the least expensive touchscreen phone currently available, costing only £49 on pay-as-you-go. It's cheap alright, but you get what you pay for," Ms Graham adds.
Whats the best cheap mobile deal you ever had?
