New HTC business phone comes to Orange
Posted: 2 July 2009
Orange has announced that it is to make the HTC Touch Pro2 available to its customers.
The network said this week the device could provide an ideal communications solution for its business users, as it is equipped with a number of features that many professionals will benefit from.
Among these is the Straight Talk facility - which allows the user to tap on an icon within an email that connects directly to the person who sent it via a voice call - and the Windows Mobile Professional 6.1 operating system.
In addition, a full slide-out qwerty keyboard, 3.6-inch high-resolution touch screen, MicroSD card support for up to 8 GB and an integrated media player could make the model a solid purchase for many, according to an Orange spokesman.
Francois Mahieu, director of devices at the network, said: "The HTC Touch Pro2 is packed with features to make everyday business tasks a great deal easier and is the ideal mobile companion for the busy business user."
This week, Orange announced the appointment of Ian Smith as its new head of brand communications.
Would this make you consider an upgrade?
