LG boosts Cookie range with two new colours

LG has announced the launch of some new colours available on one of its most affordable devices.

The South Korean manufacturer states this week that Orange users will have exclusive access to two new variants of its LG-KP501 - which is also known as the Cookie - in pink and silver.

It is claimed by the company that the move follows the "overwhelming" success of the device, which is available on a number of pay-as-you-go and contract tariffs.

Commenting on the new options, LG Mobile's head of marketing in the UK Jeremy Newing said choice was important for those looking at the latest mobile phones.

"We are delighted to add the pink and silver Cookie to the range as it reaffirms the stylish and fun personality that has made the LG Cookie so sought after," he added.

The LG Cookie is equipped with a three-megapixel camera and a three-inch touchscreen.
