Vodafone reminds customers of 'last chance for savings'

Mobile phone customers on the Vodafone network should be sure to take advantage of the company's roaming promotion.
Until August 31st, users can call, text and send picture messages from their handset at the same rate that they would pay at home.
The company suspending roaming charges for the duration of the summer, which will allow people going on a break for the Bank Holiday to keep in touch with their loved ones at a reduced price.
Both contract and pay-as-you-go customers can use the Vodafone Passport service, but need to text in to receive the benefits.
In addition, the network has pointed out that Vodafone offers a pay-per-day internet package while abroad to use on mobiles or laptops.
In related news, Vodafone recently launched the Blackberry Curve 8520 Smartphone.
Among the features of the new device is Wi-Fi, 16 GB memory storage capacity and a media player, as well as a Qwerty keyboard and touch-sensitive trackpad.
