Sony Ericsson headset 'stands out from the crowd'

Sony EricssonA new Bluetooth headset from Sony Ericsson has been put to the test in a new article for Cnet this week.

The site's Joseph Hanlon looked at the manufacturer's new HBH-IV840 device and explained that it was a model that stands out from many of its rivals for a number of reasons.

Among these are the slimline design of the gadget and the way it can be used without the need for an ear hook - something he added gives the headset "a subtlety and elegance most […] sorely lack".

The Sony Ericsson HBH-IV840 was also described as comfortable to use and for those who think it looks as if it could drop out, Mr Hanlon said this had been a big part of his testing procedure.

"It doesn't seem like it will fall out no matter how much head banging we do," he concluded.

The device could be an ideal companion to the manufacturer's line of mobile phones - which includes the W995 and C905.
