New Samsung 'feels great and is feature-packed'

SamsungA new handset from Samsung has been praised for combining the latest features with small and pocketable dimensions.

Ricky Cadden explained in an article for Mobile Burn this week that the South Korean manufacturer has created a device that "feels surprisingly good in your hand" in the form of the SGH-T749 Highlight.

Measuring 109 x 53 x 13 mm and weighing 105 g, he added the model is capable of packing a great deal in to its small frame, including a 3.2-megapixel camera, 3G support and a three-inch WQVGA touchscreen.

Mr Cadden noted this was "extremely bright and easy to read", but said it was the overall user experience of the Samsung SGH-T749 Highlight which made it worthy of recommendation.

"The contacts application is robust and the internet browser is quite nice, as well," he concluded.

Earlier this month, the reviewer looked at the Samsung SGH-T559 Comeback, suggesting the mobile phone had "more annoyances than advantages", making this a reason he could not say it was a worthwhile purchase.
