LG launches "jazzy" new handset

One of the latest phones to be made available by LG has been described by one reviewer as "very jazzy".

Russell Jefferies said in a piece for the Mobile Burn website that the manufacturer had created a "handsome" model in the form of the GD900 Crystal - and this was something that would impress potential buyers.

One of the most noticeable features highlighted in the article was the transparent keypad, which the reviewer explained was a multi-functional addition that made the gadget look "very jazzy, especially at night".

Mr Jeffries went on to say that the top half of the device was also great to look at in particular the "very shiny plastic with a mirrored finish around the display".

The LG GD900 Crystal boasts an eight-megapixel camera, as well as multimedia features that include Dolby Mobile audio and DivX support. The phone has 3G connectivity and operates using the firm's S-class user interface.

Flora Graham of Cnet also reviewed the phone this week and said although the see-through keypad was a little gimmicky, it was very responsive.
