Jalou to get Dolce & Gabbana makeover

The recently announced Sony Ericsson Jalou is to be released in a special limited edition designer version.

Branded with the name of Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana, the clamshell model will feature exclusive packaging and a number of accessories such as three rose satin bags.

As with the original model, the limited edition handset will have a 3.2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth stereo, 3D gaming, a two-inch screen and three colour choices - Onyx Black, Aquamarine Blue and Deep Amethyst.

Exclusive photos and video clips will be pre-loaded on to the model and this will be taken from the company's 2010 Autumn/Winter runway show.

"There is also a variety of stylish themes and wallpapers, as well as a Dolce & Gabbana blog that sends the latest trends, news and gossip directly to the mobile phone via an RSS feed," Sony Ericsson said.

Blonde Hollywood starlet Scarlett Johansson recently showed her support for the famous design house at a special make-up launch in London's Selfridges store.
