Research in Motion has received an eight out of ten rating from a reviewer for its new Blackberry Curve 8250 handset.
TrustedReviews gave a positive recommendation for the latest model of the popular smartphone brand, rating the unit highly for its value and design.
Among the key features praised was the new handset's optical trackpad, which was described by the author as "a pleasure to use" and a more than adequate replacement for the trackball seen on older models.
Other attributes singled out for praise include the device's "excellent" built-in keyboard and its battery performance, which allows for three days of medium usage.
Reviewer Niall Magennis said: "It's the combination of its excellent email features, long battery life and easy to use interface that make it
a good choice for those who want more than a standard mobile."
Mr Magennis was similarly positive about the previous BlackBerry Curve 8900 model, which also received an eight out of ten score for its "classy" look and sharp display.
