Vodafone confirms HTC exclusive
Posted: 30 April 2009
Vodafone has confirmed that the second Google Android-powered mobile phone to be made widely available in the UK will be exclusive to its customers.
Following in the footsteps of the T Mobile G1, the HTC Magic utilises the same operating system and the carrier has taken the opportunity to advise potential buyers on its contract prices.
Vodafone states for a £35 monthly tariff, users will get the handset free on two-year agreements and can expect 600 free minutes, unlimited texts and a 2 GB memory card as part of the deal.
"The HTC Magic is an easy-to-use touchscreen mobile, which allows users to personalise the way they use the internet on their mobile, as well as download relevant applications," it was advised.
Such software includes ringtones and games that can be accessed directly via the operating systems Android Market facility.
The phone also features 500 MB of internal memory and a 3.2-megapixel camera.
