BlackBerry: An A-list phone with star quality

Contract mobile phones seekers could be getting the most out of their email and messaging with a new BlackBerry.

The full qwerty keyboard and internet facilities that feature on most of the Research In Motion devices, have proved popular with all kinds of user - including some famous faces.

Celebrity BlackBerry Sightings listed a number of stars that have been witnessed out and about with their smartphones recently, including Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria Parker.

The site noted that the actress was spotted emerging from a store with a BlackBerry Bold in her hand and also featured pictures of Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus and Slumdog Millionaire actor Dev Patel.

A spokesman for Total Access Communication said this week that the BlackBerry Curve 8520 is a smartphone solution which is well-designed to suit new users of the range.

The model is available on T-Mobile, O2, Vodafone and Orange, while the Bold 9700 and Curve 8900 are also on sale now.
