Research in Motion's (RIM) line of smartphones could be about to benefit from a new partnership.
The manufacturer behind the BlackBerry range has announced it will work alongside HP to create a number of new solutions that could enhance its offerings to business users.
RIM claims one of the areas the new deal will focus on is support for existing services such as the BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 system.
This application aims to provide professionals with the ability to streamline business practices with better productivity levels and reduced reducing operating costs.
Jim Balsillie, co-chief executive officer of RIM, said: "Through our collaboration with HP, businesses will have access to an expanded set of applications and services for their BlackBerry smartphone deployments."
Famous users of the BlackBerry solution include current US president Barack Obama - who reportedly requested access to his mobile phone at all times while in office.
How addicted are you to the BlackBerry?
