C510 'combines budget appeal with photographic excellence'

The Sony Ericsson C510 has been described as a "decent all-rounder" that could interest those looking for a mid-range model.

Although it may be lacking the flagship status of handsets like the Apple iPhone 3G, BlackBerry Storm or HTC Magic, Martin James of the iGizmo website says there is a lot to like about the device.

He notes the C510 is now available on an affordable pay-as-you-go tariff and is being given away free on a host of other contracts.

This is something Mr James suggests makes it "very much a budget contender".

"Ultimately, the headline cost is the main appeal of the C510. It's a decent all-rounder for the price, happy in most situations and with a hint of photographic excellence," Mr James explains.

Also onboard the C510 is a 3.2-megapixel camera, video streaming, FM radio and HSDPA connectivity.

The model joins other Cyber-shot handsets in the Sony Ericsson range like the C902 and C905.

Which of the above is the most desirable?
