Samsung follows up the Behold
Posted: 2 March 2009
Samsung has followed up the launch of the Behold last year with a new camera-focused handset, it has emerged.
The Memoir, as it is known, was recently put to the test by Unwired View and was found to be a great entry into the eight-megapixel range of handsets now available.
Incorporating Samsung's Touchwiz user interface - which is also available on models like the Omnia and Tocco - the article found the Memoir simple to use with a number of useful shortcuts.
Also noted was the fact the phone is "essentially a Samsung Behold with three more megapixels added", but its overall design is something which has undergone some revision.
"Overall I was impressed by the Samsung Memoir," the reviewer concluded.
The Samsung Behold, which is also known as the SGH-t919, features a five-megapixel camera, full HTML browser, integrated media player and GPS navigation system.
