LG's GD900 to be showcased at CTIA

LGLG has announced it will showcase an innovative new device at this year's CTIA Wireless event.

Taking place in Las Vegas on April 1st, the exhibition brings experts and manufacturers together to display some of their latest gadgets and the South Korean company claims to have something special in mind.

It is noted the LG-GD900 will be a one of a kind handset as it is the first in the world to boast a fully transparent touchpad.

This three-inch screen device offers Haptic feedback, Multi Touch zoom control, Gesture Shortcut settings, a multimedia Touch Wheel facility and finger-writing recognition.

Commenting on the device, head of marketing at the firm Jeremy Newing said: "The LG-GD900 combines style and functionality reaffirming LG's innovative approach to product design that continues to surpass consumer expectations."

The phone follows other Black Label models such as the Prada and the recently-launched Arena - which T Mobile announced last week it would offer in an exclusive Titan Black version.

If you had the choice, would you opt for the Arena or the GD900?
