Sony Ericsson launches 'the ultimate slider'
Posted: 29 June 2009
Sony Ericsson has announced the launch of a new mobile phone that it claims is the "ultra compact slider".
The T715 is equipped with a 2.2-inch screen and an extra large keypad and font size to allow easier text messaging, web browsing and email management services that are boosted by 3G connectivity.
Also highlighted was the inclusion of fast access to Google Maps and AccuWeather.com, which Sony Ericsson said will help people avoid getting lost or caught out in the rain.
Quentin Cordier, marketing business manager at the firm, explained that in addition to its technical features, the group had created a device that offers stylish good looks.
"With a premium brushed aluminium cover and glossy front, this new mobile phone demonstrates the sophisticated design language consumers have come to expect from Sony Ericsson," he added.
The device joins others in the company range that include the C905, Xperia X1 and the W595 Walkman phone.
Would you prefers a slider or candybar handset?
