New Sony Ericsson 'sets multimedia free'

One of the new line of Sony Ericsson mobile phones offers "sound and vision set free", according to the manufacturer.

The company recently announced the launch of three new handsets, the Satio, Yari and Aino - and explained that the latter device is ideal for those looking for multimedia options.

It is noted that the Media Go facility on the Aino utilises Wi-Fi technology to make the transfer of audio files and video clips simpler and wire free.

Alexandre Cardon, market business manager at the firm, said compatibility with the Sony PlayStation 3 via the Media Home and Remote Play features were just another example of how the gadget was leading its class.

"Sony Ericsson has established itself as the communication entertainment brand and Aino highlights our commitment to bringing the latest […] technology to the market in fun and innovative ways," he added.

The phone also boasts an 8.1-megapixel camera with 16x digital zoom, auto focus and face detection.
