Mobile gamers given chance to be 'the special one'

The Premiership season may be over, but there is no reason why mobile phone users should miss out on their footy fix with a new game that has been reviewed this week.

According to Pocket Gamer, whether you are a budding Brian Clough, Gareth Southgate or Jose Mourinho, there may be something for all soccer fans in Championship Manager 2009.

Using the Nokia N95 8GB, the site's Keith Andrew puts the title to the test and suggests those who like their football stats and traditional, strategic gameplay may be impressed.

He notes the inclusion of a number of European clubs like Bayern Munich and Real Madrid offers players a little something extra that other releases have missed.

"Championship Manager 2009 is ultimately playable and provides enough scope to guarantee its worthiness as a decent, though not perfect, arena for all the Mourinhos in waiting out there," Mr Andrew concludes.

The game is also available to play on other N-Gage devices like the N86 and N97.
