LG gives Orange a pink Arena

LGLG has announced that one of its latest phones is to be made available in an exclusive colour to customers of the Orange network.

The South Korean manufacturer has confirmed that subscribers to the carrier's latest contracts can now get their hands on the Arena KM900 multimedia smartphone in pink.

Launched earlier this year and touted as a real rival to the Apple iPhone 3G by some, the device boasts a three-inch touchscreen WVGA display, five-megapixel camera and 8 GB of internal storage - expandable to 40 GB with a microSD card.

In addition, users get up to 30 hours of music playback on a full charge and the unit is equipped for use on 3G and HSDPA networks, as well as Wi-Fi.

Jeremy Newing, head of marketing at the firm in the UK, commented: "LG and Orange are enjoying working together to bring popular models to market and expanding ranges."

"The exclusive launch of the LG Arena Pink is no exception."
