A company known for its range of mobile phones has unveiled a new system which it hopes will offer better internet connectivity.
This week, Motorola - the firm behind a selection of handsets including the ROKR and RAZR range - released details of its new wireless router, which it hopes will offer users a more reliable mobile broadband option.
Motorola's wi4 WiMAX CPEi 775 is an all-in-one device that combines a high-performance router with voice calling connectivity, support for Ethernet and a "sleek, ultra-thin" design.
Following on from previous models such as the award-winning CPEi 850, the company claims this latest development will address the current demand for reliable, advanced, wireless products.
Charles Riggle, senior director of strategy and business development for WiMAX devices at Motorola, said: "With the CPEi 775, we are able to provide high performance in a very attractive form factor."
Last month, infoSync reviewed the latest RAZR2 V9x, stating that it had a "great external display with touch controls", as well as a host of features.
