Samsung goes on mobile movie mission

SamsungA new deal between Samsung and one of the major Hollywood studios could be good news for movie fans with mobile phones.

The South Korean manufacturer, which counts the Tocco, Omnia and Pixon among its current range, has announced a partnership with Paramount's digital entertainment division.

As part of the deal, buyers in the US who opt for the company's Delve handset will be able to get hold of a package with a 2G microSD card that is pre-loaded with all three Mission Impossible films.

Bill Ogle, chief marketing officer for Samsung, said: "When you combine this incredible content with the Delve's full set of powerful features, it's easy to stay entertained and connected no matter where you are."

However, Samsung's range of video-enabled mobile phones does not end with the Delve device.

The company recently announced a new Tocco Ultra Edition with a high quality 30fps VGA video recording and a 2.8-inch Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode touch screen.
