RIM highlights Curve 8900 features

BlackBerryA spokesman for Research In Motion (RIM) has commented on some of the key features of one of its latest mobile phones.

Commenting on the launch of the BlackBerry Curve 8900 in the Caribbean market, vice-president of corporate marketing for the firm Mark Guibert said the device would be attractive to all kinds of user.

He added the 8900 was compact enough to be portable, stylish enough to be tempting and was capable of all the connectivity and applications access that were to be expected from a RIM handset.

Mr Guibert concluded the messaging, browsing, calling and social networking aspects of the Curve 8900 could help "make the most of a mobile lifestyle that spans beyond normal business hours".

The phone is equipped with a 512MHz processor, 3.2-megapixel camera with digital zoom and flash, 3.5mm stereo headset jack and integrated Wi-Fi connectivity. It is now available on Orange.
