O2 offers "something extra" for shopaholics
Posted: 6 February 2009
O2 has announced buyers of some of the latest Nokia mobile phones could now expect their cash to go a little further.
The network is celebrating the release of Confessions of a Shopaholic, which stars former Home & Away star Isla Fisher as a New York journalist with a penchant for retail therapy, by giving away gift vouchers.
It is noted the Nokia 5800 - the Finnish manufacturer's first entry into the touchscreen market - will be among the range, which will come with up to £100 worth of shopping vouchers.
These can be used at Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, Miss Selfridge, Wallis, Evans, Burton, Topman and Outfit - and could make a new Nokia handset the ideal Valentine's Day gift.
O2's marketing director, Peter Rampling, commented: "Giving extra value to our customers is really important."
"We want to offer the latest and best phones to both our Pay Monthly and Pay & Go customers and we also like to offer something extra."
