New BlackBerry 'ideal for home and office'

BlackBerryA new handset from Research In Motion (RIM) has been described by the manufacturer as ideal for both personal and professional users.

Following the launch of the BlackBerry Curve 8900 in Norway, RIM drew attention to the "exceptional" level of support the device offers for office utilities such as email and web browsing.

However, it was also noted the Curve has a range of features that make it an excellent choice for those with more social needs.

Mark Guibert, RIM's vice-president of corporate marketing, said in addition the handset was a practical and stylish choice.

"The BlackBerry Curve 8900 lets you stay easily connected with work, family, friends and the internet using a beautifully designed phone that looks and feels great," he added.

In addition, the model features a host of multimedia applications, as well as integrated Wi-Fi connectivity, 2.4-inch display and a 512 Mhz processor.

Does the option of a full qwerty keypad tempt you?
