LG unveils Arena model

LG has unveiled its latest model - the Arena.

Featuring a 3D user interface, the device has Dolby Mobile surround technology, along with a 3.5 mm audio jack - enabling users to listen to the mobile phone's content on conventional earphones.

Commenting on the launch, president and chief executive officer of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company, Dr Skott Ahn, said the model's 3D user interface was "unlike anything that has appeared on a phone before".

He added customers wanted a "simple, fast and fun way" to use features on a device, along with a "dynamic and interesting" experience.

The phone also has a ReelScrolling function, allowing the use of an on-screen dial when the Arena is in camera mode.

In other news, LG has unveiled the White Cookie, which will be available on O2 Pay and Go.

The model has a touchscreen interface, along with MP3 playback, games and a camera.
