Sony Ericsson C903 'a solid mid-range snapper'
Posted: 5 August 2009
Consumers shopping for the latest phones to boast a five-megapixel camera may be interested in the comments of a new review.
In an article for 3G.co.uk, the Sony Ericsson C903 - which is the latest entry in the firm's photo-centric Cyber-shot line - is put to the test.
The site says the mid-range cameraphone performed solidly in a range of conditions with features like the LED flash providing decent quality images.
In addition, the video shooting features - which include the ability to zoom smoothly while in capture mode - were singled out for "special praise", although a lack of Wi-Fi was one item that some may find off-putting.
The design of the C903 was said to be "impressive", although comparisons with some more expensive devices were made.
It concluded: "The Sony Ericsson C903 is a competent alternative if you're not prepared to shell out the pennies for a higher-end handset."
The Sony Ericsson C905 - an eight-megapixel model in the Cyber-shot range - was recently given a software upgrade by the manufacturer.
What is your favourite Cyber-shot so far?
