Vodafone PAYG gets colourful new additions

Vodafone has announced a range of new pay-as-you-go (PAYG) handsets designed to appeal to style-conscious users.

The network's latest Catwalk Collection includes the 527 mobile phones, which are available in five colours the company says are inspired by the new spring season.

Buyers get to choose between violet, ice, rose, lemon and sky - and - with a price tag of £30 - the phones could provide an ideal solution for those looking at an affordable PAYG deal.

Chris Edwards, director of device management for Vodafone UK, said: "With the new season’s Catwalk Collection, we will certainly build on this and we expect the range to be a very popular line up for spring and summer."

The Vodafone 527 models are equipped with a camera, FM radio, MP3 player and Bluetooth support.

A number of other PAYG devices are available from the network including the Samsung E250 Lilac, as well as Sony Ericsson's T303 Pink and W580i White.
