Vodafone boosts its credentials with business accreditation

Vodafone has announced the confirmation of a new accreditation that may be of interest to potential business customers.

The network has confirmed its mobile broadband and 3G voice calling products have been awarded the BS 25999 certification from BSI Management Systems.

Peter Kelly, enterprise director for Vodafone UK, explained as more of its users require evidence of continuity in business practices, the accreditation proves the firm is "going the extra mile" to offer this kind of support.

Julian Thrussell, product marketing manager of risk at BSI Management Systems, added: "Mobile is now business critical. Vodafone's commitment to achieving BS 25999 certification with BSI should be applauded."

Vodafone recently announced an offer for its pay-as-you-go customers that provided £50 of talk and text credit with £10 worth of top up on its Freedom Packs.

The packages joined the network's Free Weekends and Text Unlimited options for those looking to obtain a phone without a monthly contract.
