Sony Ericsson W205 'perfect for music lovers'

A new mobile phone should appeal to music lovers everywhere, it has been suggested.

The Sony Ericsson W205 is due to be released in selected markets during the third quarter of this year and the manufacturer claimed it comes with features that will ensure owners have the right tunes available no matter what the occasion.

Among the devices on offer is an FM radio, TrackID - which can name a song and the artist - and the power to create numerous playlists.

Timo Maassmann, marketing business manager with Sony Ericsson, said: "The W205 is a stylish slider phone allowing you to enjoy your music wherever you are - whether it's on the bus, at college or chilling in the park."

As well as its music capabilities, the handset also includes a 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth and a range of phone books to keep contacts in order.

Last month, tennis star Maria Sharapova unveiled Sony Ericsson's T707 mobile phone.
