Site reveals best video recording mobile phones

Those shopping for new mobile phones with the best video recording technology have been told to look out for five of the latest models.

Handsets from LG, Nokia and Samsung were among those singled out for praised in an article recently posted on the PC Mag website.

First of all, the LG Dare VX9700 was highlighted for being "fun to use" - and the fact it incorporates slow-motion video capture was also noted as a welcome addition.

Nokia had two entries in the list with the N82 - which the site described as "among the best camera phones we've ever seen" and the N95 8GB, which it called "a top-notch multimedia smartphone".

Samsung's Memoir SGH-T929 and Omnia SCH-i910 rounded out the list with the former boasting high-resolution video recording at 720 x 480 pixels running at 30 fps.

The LG Arena KM900 - which was launched earlier this month - claims to offer DVD quality video recording and playback.
