Samsung 'follows up Blackjack smartphone'

There are a number of features on the latest smartphone from Samsung that could tempt users of the Blackjack II, it has been advised.

Michael Oryl states in a recent article for Mobile Burn that, although the SGH-i627 Propel Pro is not the "perfect Windows Mobile" device that its predecessor was, it does have some endearing traits.

The sturdy design of the phone and its overall functionality are highlighted, although it is also noted that the Nokia E71 and E63 could prove to be tough competition for the Propel Pro.

However, for those familiar with the South Korean brand, Mr Oryl concludes the phone could be a possible upgrade option.

"The novel form factor and nice autofocus camera should certainly give BlackJack owners something to think about when it is time to pick up a new device."

Other recent releases from Samsung include an upgrade of the Tocco that has been named the Ultra Edition.
