A new 3G smartphone has been launched by Samsung that could interest business users, it has been suggested.
The South Korean manufacturer has unveiled details of its latest Windows Mobile-powered device, noting that its vertically-sliding qwerty keyboard provides a hidden messaging solution.
Named the Samsung Propel Pro, the handset runs on the latest 6.1 version of Microsoft's mobile operating system and also features easy access to Internet Explorer, as well as Office packages including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Commenting on the new model, Samsung Telecommunications America's chief marketing officer Bill Ogle said the firm had been able to combine "compact design" with "power".
This, he claimed, made the Propel Pro "ideal for users who want to take their business with them".
Other recent additions to the Samsung range include the Tocco Ultra Edition.
How important is easy email access on the go?
