O2 partnership 'could be good for business users'

A new business-focussed partnership announced this week could be of interest to professionals with mobile phones.

O2 has announced a partnership with Barclay Communications which is expected to lead to enhanced business offerings including better customer services, sales and marketing support.

The network will work with the business efficiency group - which supplies its solutions to small and medium-sized firms (SMEs) across the UK and Northern Ireland - to create an O2 Centre of Excellence to provide this.

David Plumb, head of SME sales at O2, said: "Barclay is the perfect partner to help us expand our presence and grow our market share throughout the UK, supplying our entire range of business-to-business solutions."

The news could inspire some professionals to consider the exclusive range of smartphones now available from the carrier - which includes Apple's iPhone 3G.

Who does your business use for its mobile needs?
