Porsche teams up with Sagem

A legendary Italian car manufacturer has entered the world of mobile phones, according to reports.
Pocket-lint states this week that Porsche has got together with budget handset maker Sagem to offer a new line of mobile phones that have looks at the forefront of their design.
In fact, the article states that Porsche's design team was involved in the process of creating the new Sagem P9522.
However, it goes on to note that the mobile phones will be way out of many people's price range, at an estimated 600 (£477) when they are released despite lacking any 3G capabilities.
"For this, you get a candybar phone with an aluminum chassis, 2.8-inch display, five-megapixel camera, GPS, Wi-Fi, fingerprint reader and a microSD card slot," it states.
"But no 3G, radio or Porsche car to put it into."
Last year, Tech Radar reported that Porsche/Sagem's "first ever" mobile phone, the P'9521, would debut at the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen, Germany.
