Phones4U leaks "spectastic" Samsung details

Details have emerged on another touchscreen phone that could be about to tempt mobile phone shoppers.

Trusted Reviews reports that "another spectastic touchscreen handset from Samsung" appeared on the Phones4U website recently and has subsequently been pulled - leading to speculation over the handset.

It is reported that the handset appeared to be an "eight-megapixel heavy hitter which looks set to head to head with the iPhone 3G" and goes by the name of the Samsung Bresson.

The Bresson would follow recent high-specification mobile phones from the South Korean manufacturer such as the Omnia and Tocco and is expected to feature a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, HSDPA, aGPS and a ghost of media functions.

It was also noted that the Bresson could be taking its name from "famed French photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson" and that this suggests it will mean its overriding feature could be its camera system.

The Samsung Omnia and Tocco are now available on a range of contracts.
